Happy Birthday, Ryan!

So this post has nothing to do with Ryan's birthday; it's just a hodgepodge of what we've done over the last month. But since it IS Ryan's birthday, I might as well throw in a dedication.

Pebble Beach
This is at Pebble Beach, along the 17-mile drive between Monterey and Carmel. It was beautiful, but it cost $10, so I'm still a little bitter. This is attempt #18 to get a good picture on these rocks. Not too bad...
Attempt #19. Much better, I'd say.

More 17-mile drive. The houses were enormous, and the trees were apparently really old and cool for some reason.

Mystery Spot
Ending our day with a trip to the Mystery Spot. This shot was actually really hard to pull off (not because we don't have the skills, but because the cameraman was kind of slow).

Alcatraz

And now we get to Kyle's visit. It was really fun to have Kyle out for the week, and he was a big help in the move to L.A./New York. We hit almost everything you can hit in San Francisco, including all the Pier 39 hullabaloo, and Alcatraz, Ghirardelli Square, Lombard Street, Mission district, Golden Gate Park, and most importantly, we made it to Pride Week.

Paul's first experience at Alcatraz. But not his last....
Wendy playing hop scotch in the prison yard.
Kyle strutting around like he owns the place.
It's touching, I know.

Pride Week
We didn't get any good pictures of Pride Week (and you can all be grateful), but if you want to hear stories, we've got plenty of them. This church kind of says it all. Don't you just love San Francisco?

Disneyland
This is Kyle's "excited" face. He should be excited, we're about to ride the teacups at Disneyland! We got on almost every single ride in the park.

This is Kyle's "I'm too cool for school" face. That's right, Kyle, kids who ride in the pink teacup are the coolest kids in school.

Man, you are the fun ones to visit. You go to see EVERYTHING. Oh, and Ryan's phone is broken so that's why you couldn't get through. Sorry.
