I wanna be a part of it...New York!

We're having a blast so far in the city. Just a few highlights of things we've experienced/seen/done:
  • 3 Broadway shows (In the Heights, Hairspray, Gypsy)...by the way, we paid $45 each for all three shows...total
    • We were on the front row for Hairspray, and one actress called out Paul twice during the show. He had the spotlight on him and everything. I was so proud.
  • We saw the possessive mother-in-law from "Everybody Loves Raymond." I don't know her real name, but she was right in front of us at "Gypsy" last night (fyi her name is Doris Roberts)
  • All of Times Square, of course
  • Ground Zero
  • Wall Street, Financial District
  • Central Park...again and again and again...we live super close
  • Brooklyn and it's amazing pizza...we stood in line for 30 minutes to get Grimaldi's pizza, then walked across the Brooklyn Bridge back to Manhattan
  • 4th of July in New Canaan, Connecticut...apparently the most expensive real estate location in the U.S. ... we will never ever live there
  • Stamford, Pennsylvania...that's right fans of "The Office," THE Stamford
  • I met some Albanians on the train and talked to them in Shqipe. They loved me. New York City has the third-highest Albanian population in the world (Albania=1st, Detroit=2nd)
  • I got cat-called by some construction workers today...that was cool
  • Rascal Flatts on the Today Show...okay, we didn't actually see this (I slept in late), but we could have seen it...and by the way, Miley Cyrus comes to town next Friday, so be prepared for the blog posting of a lifetime...Miley, here I come!
Other than that Paul's been working hard (he's got lots of big projects), and I've been sleeping in late every day. It's fantastic. I do, however, start working on Monday with my same company, New Horizons. They told me I can teach as much as I want. I'm also doing some extra contracting for people who want Access/Excel/PowerPoint help.

We still want people to come visit us, so come! New York is fun! And I'm getting bored by myself.

I really should buy Ryan a ticket to come and see you. We don't get back to Ohio until the 5th of August, so he'd cut it close before you leave. It looks like so much fun, though!

Wendy! You two are having so much fun without us... see you lied, we don't need to come see you; you're doing fine alone. I have to say I am a little sad that you can live your life so well without me and Dave. Tear*

FINALLY!!! I've been wondering what you two are up to in the BIG APPLE. Looks like too much fun for your own good. I am super jealous about the Broadway shows. How long are you staying in NYC? When does school start?

I ran into your mom at Lamb Days. It was a nice chat mostly about YOU!!

CA misses you, so come back soon.
